Since 2005, Placages X Press has supplied natural and reconstituted wood veneer, veneered panels and edge banding to architectural millwork shops, cabinetmakers and interior design professionals. Based in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Québec, with more than 25 years of experience in the veneer industry.

02 — Species, cuts and grades
Natural veneer is available in more than a hundred domestic and exotic species, among them oak, maple, walnut, cherry, mahogany, teak and wenge. The cut changes the look of the grain: we offer sliced, rotary, rift and quarter cuts. 03 — Formats, substrates and backings
Veneered panels are made in 4 × 8, 4 × 10, 4 × 12, 5 × 8, 5 × 10 and 5 × 12 ft, on MDF, particleboard, plywood, HDF, Fibrex, Cora Perform or marine plywood. Panels are sanded at 180 grit on both faces, or with a custom finish on request. Specialized options include NuGreen (VOC-free), fire rated (FR) and moisture resistant (MR) panels. We deliver throughout Québec and Ontario. For other provinces, contact us to discuss shipping options. To order, send a quote request with the species, cut, matching, grade, substrate, dimensions and finished thickness. Drawings in PDF, DWG or DXF can be attached directly to the form. Veneer sheets and edge banding can also be ordered online.

Can you supply a species that is not in your catalogue?
Yes. All our species are available on request, and our network of suppliers lets us source the one your project needs. Contact us to check availability and lead times.
Can you veneer panels to my drawings?
Yes. We manufacture veneered panels up to 5 × 12 ft on the substrate of your choice, sequence-matched or made to drawings specifying dimensions and grain direction.
