Return and Refund Policy

Products sold online by Placages X Press inc. (edge banding and veneer sheets) are final sales.
No Returns
We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds, including in the following cases:
- change of mind or excess quantity ordered;
- wrong species, width, cut or backing selected by the customer when ordering;
- natural variation in grain, color or tone: wood is a natural material and every piece differs from the photo;
- product that has been cut, glued, installed or altered in any way.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged in transit, has a manufacturing defect, or does not match what you ordered:
- notify us within 5 business days of delivery, at 514-755-9590 or info@placagesxpress.com;
- include your order number and photos of the product and packaging;
- do not cut, glue or install the product concerned.
Once verified, we replace the product at no charge or refund it, including shipping. If we ask you to return the item, we cover the return shipping. Refunds are sent by Interac e-Transfer within 10 business days of approval.
Order Cancellation
An order can be cancelled at no charge until the Interac e-Transfer payment is received. Once payment is received, the order is prepared and can no longer be cancelled.
Your Rights
This policy does not limit your rights under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, including the legal warranty of quality.
